I seriously need a new hobby.. My current hobbies are guitar and photography, but I feel I need more. All I usually do is sit in front of the computer like I have no life. I’ll start running blocks since it’s almost spring. I need more to keep me occupied and stay away from this computer. Any suggestions?

you gotta try to handmade something……. like cards, scrapbooks…..etc. it’s very addictive….. i learn a lot from
well go and live your life by tastinf new foods, extreme sports, playing fun video games, and do other stuff that will make you happy.
I would say to try digital scrapbooking. You can get a lot of the items to create the layouts for free online. You could use your photos.
you have to get out there and do something that involves physical activity. Maybe join a team of players. You can play a sport such as basketball, football. Doing physical activity makes you feel better because your body produces endorphines and you will be able to meet people in the process.
Cross-stitching perhaps? It’s real fun, cheap and you can always advance from easier items to more challenging ones as your skills improve!
That one is hard to answer, because what one person might like, you might not.
When I read your hobbies now are guitar and photography, it looks to me you’re creative, so maybe scrapbooking could be something that might interest you. Or you could look for something that had never crossed your mind, like model building (wooden ships or something) depending on how much you want to do the miniscule things.
What I am doing now is making all sorts of things with all sorts of clay (polymer-, paper- , airdried) from fantasy figurines to flowerarrangements and coming fall I am going to try to sell it at the Fall Festival. It keeps me pretty busy and keeps me away from the computer most of the time, unless I am looking for examples
My ship I am trying to build from scratch has taken a backseat for now, because I don’t even have time for that now, trying to make a ‘stash’ for the fall. I know that’s still a long time away, it now only being March, but with a family who likes what you’re making and me giving them what they like, it is needless to say my sellable (is that a word?) stash isn’t growing very hard….
I guess you mentioning that you want something to ‘stay away from this computer’ raises the question what you’re doing on your computer? If it’s chatrooms and games, that does get ‘old’ after a while; I’ve been there and done that and then also wanted to do something else. I still spend time on here, but a lot less and then more to learn things. Personally I love history, so I joined
You could do something more with your photography. I don’t know if you ‘only’ take pictures, but have you ever thought of maybe extending that field of interest and work with Photoshop and maybe as a goal sell your pictures and make some money out of something you like to do? To me that is the best things of all. Hospitals etc.(at least in this neighborhood) often have expositions of work from local people, whether they’d be painters or photographers; it might be an idea to check that out?
I hope you’ll find what you’re looking for
Try something new and make handmade cards or design a new THING?! =)
Try digital scrapbooking! It will put your photography to use and you can still use the computer to do it. It is sooo fun and much less expensive than regular scrapbooking.
I love to sew, its easy to learn and once you understand the basics you can let you imagination guide you
I would recommend going to a hobby and craft store in your area and browsing around, but first have a price range in mind, so you’ll keep within your budget. You might not find anything right away, but it’ll give you some ideas.
I have 3 chains that I trust my life with. They’ve been around for at least 20 years.
Good Luck!
