I would like to start a hobby where I make nice things but I’m a begginer so what would you suggest other than scrapbooking? I just can’t get into scrapbooking. Also If you can suggest a hobby could you suggest a good website or book to learn how to do it? Thanks So Much.

try cross stiching you can buy little kits with the pattern printed on it the direction are in the kit and explain how to do it. it is really easy to teach yourself how to do. But start out small and work your way up. Good Luck!

Knitting is an easy hobby to pick up and is also a useful thing to know how to do. It is portable, handy, and a wonderful way to make homemade gifts for loved ones. I taught myself how to knit in only a few hours, and I taught my six year old daughter in the span of about a week. Good luck!

If you like scrapbooking but it seems to be too big of a project/hobby to start out with, you can always try card making. It’s like scrapbooking but smaller and much faster to complete!

I would suggest that you take a beginners quilting class.. It is fun and you can start off making small lap quilts.. they can be done in a day or two after you learn how to do them.. can make great gifts and with a sewing machine and a little idea you can be very creative after just a few lessons.. the lessons are usually very inexpensive and you can purchase cute material at your local Wal-Mart..

Try making candles. It is fun and your house will smell awsome. Plus you will have some neat decorations for your house and presents for others. If you go to the goodwill they have some neat old glass peices that make wonderfull molds/ candle holders. Good Luck!!!
