You could have a Sadistic Sixteen! Or a Scary Sixteen. Lol - everyone can dress up in devils costumes and lots of black... sort of like a halloween party I guess!

Safari Sixteen - sounds corny but could be quite fun!

Sailing, Sea or Sandy Sixteen - would work for a pool or beach party

Salsa, Swing or Samba Sixteen - now these would be great for music and if you like dancing?

Satin, Silky, Silver or Sapphire Sixteen - good if you wanted a formal type of party?

Salty Sixteen - sort of the opposite to a sweet sixteen... but I don't know about the theme for this one?!

Or you could rhyme... like Neat Sixteen or Feet Sixteen (you could go have a pedicure with all the girls!).

Just be inventive and do something that you enjoy!

One of the funnest birthdays I ever had, we got into groups of 2 and had a very, very wild scavenger hunt. We went all over town for the wierdest stuff like a pinecone, a ball-point pen with green ink, a photo from when the contestant was less than a year old, a child's t-shirt, a pictue of an old celebrity, etc. The list was about 100 items long and each item was worth a few points based upon how hard they would be to get. There was a grand prize and a runner-up prize for the winners.
We were given an hour and a half to get as many of the strange items as possible. The grand prize was $100 in for form of 2 $50 bills (one for each person of the group) and the second prize was a set of 4 movie passes (2 for each member of that group.)
I hope this give you at least one good idea for something to do.
